One issue with prequels is that certain things are pre-ordained. Like when Taylor gets shot in the back. There is no "OMG he is dead" thinking. He ain't dying. Not because he is the lead but because he is alive in the future. I was kinda surprised they whacked Micheal Ealy (Ish) that fast tho.

That was my problem. Its OK.

Love the actors involved, but don't think I'll be continuing with this unless it picks up. You have to be a big fan of the genre and setting for Dark Wolf to hold attention.

Strike Back sounds more my speed.
Strike back is one of the better shows that no one ever talked about here. I like how it is shot not like an entire season but 2 episodes make kind of a movie with a climax and an ending with a hook further into the next set of episodes.

Wasn't Prison Break sort of like that too?

It goes hard into the diversity girl boss shit after the Thailand season, I think it's 5. You won't be sorry you watched the first 5 though.

Prison break falls off a cliff after 3 or 4 seasons too. But man those first couple seasons were great. It's like the A team on steroids. Every episode ends on a huge cliffhanger.

I feel like I probably stalled out on Strike Back at some point, but it was so long ago I can't even remember anything about the show.

As far as this show, I really couldn't get into it. I'll likely try again eventually. I loved the first season, but the first half of the first episode of this one sucked. I don't give any shits about a bunch of fucking Afghans or Iraqis or whatever they were who are being trained by SEALs. And I don't think this is being colored by the fact that I lived that reality for two years, either.
