I had high expectations for this one but left a bit underwhelmed. I did not enjoy the music that much (apparently mostly based on actual shaker songs) except maybe the Hunger & Thirst one. I also was left scratching my head as to what the film is trying to tell. A good looking movie for sure, a great performance by Seyfried, but it's all a bit perplexing.
