That looks like a Nissan Quest - that's how it is - the doors had to take a lot of resistance to reverse at that point of the return. I had a quest. lets say the door opening is... 4 feet - feet 1-3 you could hold your arm out in front of it and once it touches and gets a little of resistance it will reverse - that last 1 foot you have to push back quite a bit for it to reverse - most likely enough force to actually hurt a kid - last 6inches, forget it lol.
edit: youtube description says a chinese company- most likely modeled or actually off of the quest, as nissan axed the quest last model year and no longer offers a mini van.
