what would you do?

i have purposely run over a raccoon before, not because i'm evil, but b/c i was rounding a bend and probably 50+ and i knew if i swerved to avoid it, i'd be in the ditch

Everyone in that video except the dog is retarded. Look at that road. How do you NOT see that someone is stopped + dog running across the road in front of you.

To answer your question Lanx, I’d suppouse that you hope the average person understands the difference between maliciously striking an animal with your car with intent, and the overriding importance of self preservation, where the danger in avoidance is higher than the danger in the hit the vehicle/you take
