I worked for UPS for 7 years and had to field calls from people reporting their packages missing or the "delivered" status and nothing was there. It's a crappy situation for the person receiving it. Have to wait for the sender to process the claim/send a replacement. and in some cases the package centers will flag an address as a theft area and then packages wont get left unattended and you have to be home for the driver/go pick it up.
This is awesome justice to those shitbirds who steal packages.
