The repairs and cleanup are just beginning in a west suburb on Sunday after a leaking propane tank exploded in the back of a box truck.
This is the 2nd one of these I've seen this week. What the is up with these box trucks randomly exploding?

Weird. It's possible that this happens multiple times a year and as security cams are seeing widescale adoption, we just happened to catch two this year. Along with the fact that Memorial Day weekend is a big outdoor grilling holiday, where people are mistreating propane tanks at a much higher rate.

One of them was a refrigerator truck iirc. Just seems weird. We've had tons of security cameras around for quite some time as well as rings and dash cams. Maybe coincidence...or maybe tests...
