Firearm safety is the first and most important thing for hunters, and anyone handling guns, to learn. We never pass loaded firearms, always double check before bagging them up at the end of day.
One of my dad’s friends handed him a loaded shotgun out of a duck boat years ago. He went nuclear on the dude and we’ve never hunted with or even seen the guy since.
