i know b/c my wife got the flat iron version of this, is it hog wash for that price?

it's basically the bently of flat irons, and it cut down her flat iron time by more than half, that alone is worth it.

i'm sure the air wrap does the same

you can see why she took a chance at a refurb model, but well it's a refurb and it didn't work out for her

You're really now just discovering them? I did a dive into metal years back and discovered these guys when I learned Pirate metal was a thing.
