That's what I did instead of kindergarten. I keep telling my wife every time we see Morgan Freeman that he taught me how to read.

I honestly think this show may have laid a bedrock of literacy before I started learning to read.

yep 100% I could already read (not a lot but top of my class) when we 'learned' to read and it's a love I still have today. Wife yells at me for standing in the bathroom brushing my teeth reading on my tablet.
