We've been letting the lunatics run the asylum for too long now. I'm not sure we'll ever get back on track. I think our grandkids are going to live through literal Hell.

this week i'll be testing out finish pods

currently i'm using cascade plat plus, it's the only cascade (powder/liquid/regular power) that will actually clean my dishes and not leave a limescale film, or food residue

anyone else have hard water issues? (i've done the citric acid route too)

Man asians do anything to avoid the dishwasher... (i.e my mother in law)

Buy a "rinse" or "dry" aid that goes in the little spot next to the detergent - and look for ones that HAVE phosphates.

All the automatic dishwashing stuff magically sucked overnight when the liberals made them take all the phosphates out.

No I have a water softener for the whole house between the inlet pipe on the well and the storage tank. Plumber that did it mentioned we may lose water pressure but there have been several times I've had a shower, the washing machine, and the diswasher on at the same time w/o issue.

I'm 100% the exact opposite. I bought a really nice quiet dishwasher and it really pisses me off when my wife wants to wash dishes and put them in the drainer (and she does not rinse them off - it's a total wonder we don't have the shits from ingesting soap). Her British dad didn't 'believe' in them.
