It's been so long since I used DOS I wonder if I could remember all the commands? Yeah, he's way off on that $1k figure. Maybe if it was one of 3dfx's rarer later cards.I rarely watch a video over 5 minutes long but watched the whole thing. I realized that I would not have any idea how to install old Windows now , nor set up for dial up / internet and I used to be the 'guy' that did that for everyone. The guy saying a 3dfx board is $1K now is retarded.
I also used to keep my mom's old PC (that I replaced with a newer one) with Win 98 on it to play Fallout 2 , and only Fallout 2. Crazy to think where we are now vs back then.

Man, Fallout 2 was actually the first game I ordered online.
I still remember running tweaked out boot floppies with exotic config.sys files and himem to make some games run back in the day when we'd all haul towers to a buddy's house on Friday night for weekend lan parties. Oh yeah, and full CRT monitors as this was pre-LCD. Half the place playing doom and half playing warcraft at any given moment...A lot of those are on GOG.com and run via DosBox emulator. I had a book MS-DOS6.2 (?) that I taught myself the commands with.
Yeah my 21" Trinitron CRT weighed about the same as my work truck.I still remember running tweaked out boot floppies with exotic config.sys files and himem to make some games run back in the day when we'd all haul towers to a buddy's house on Friday night for weekend lan parties. Will admit Gog and DosBox are giving me some great nostalgia memberberry hits....
