Weird. I thought only males could survive The Trial of the Grasses and become Witchers?

I must be getting old. I was psyched for Witcher 1,2 and 3 but this was kind a meh in my opinion.

Sure.

The reality though is, in the world NOW with Woke DEI bullshit permeating all facets of development and gaming, do I trust people to be able to release a game with a female lead without turning it into a joke?

Was Ciri even in the first two Witcher games? I played them all on release and remember liking the second one best overall, but haven't really played them since.

It has always been believed that Ciri would be the first one to survive the grasses, but the only reason why is because of her connection to the Elves

I could be wrong but I believe Ciri only appeared in The Witcher 3. I don't believe she was even mentioned in the previous titles.
