Picked this up and it's very solid. Unfortunately it really only has 'Act 1' in the game at this point which takes you up to ~level 20.

Has some rough points but I had a lot of fun with it.

Agree for the price of a single character in diablo 4 you get full game. I really like the world. Nice to actually have a game with the sun out so you can see how pretty it is. Feels like a really good updated version of the fist game.

It's on sale for 24 bucks until Friday. Worth a stash for a couple of years at that price.

Yeah and it’s going to $50 on full release. Anyone interested should just get it now whether you want to play it now or in a couple years.

I picked it up and ended up running through it, it’s a really solid foundation. Feels like a modern TQ should. Great visuals, nice slower pace compared to some recent arpg’s. Has a decent skill system where you level up the skills and can customize them, so I see a lot of build potential in the future. Haven’t ran into a single bug. Now we just need more loot and content.

Checked out like a hour of a 4 hour video dude playing this and it looks pretty fucking generic, at least in the early game. Kind of like a Diablo 4+1 IMO. Nothing new there nothing innovative I saw, at least in the early game. And of course not knowing WTF the end game will be, I mean is it like a one and done story type game? Will it even have end game? From the looks of it it does not look like it. I mean $50 aint shit, but im tired of paying for crap. Especially this early. Like I said this game prob has a few more years to go, lol.

It’s definitely early. Just one act, no crafting yet, half the classes.

The original game was a one and done story, end game was just warping around farming the bosses. No idea what this one’s ultimate end game goal is. I would guess they’d make it a little more robust than the 1st but I don’t know, I haven’t been following it. Since it’s a no micro transaction game I’m guessing it’ll be similar to arpgs of the past like TQ and GD where they don’t continue to expand it endlessly like poe and Diablo.

I put 10 hours into casually playing Act 1. Actually looking forward to Act 2. It ain't ground breaking or genre shattering, but it is solid.

Welp, the second act seemed a lot smaller and only took like 5-6 hours, exploring every single pixel of the map. I suppose it was also a function of being more powerful and killing more efficiently than right out of level 1.

I will say the killing speed does feel a bit lethargic - I am playing a basic tanky whirlwind build, so maybe it is a function of a shitty skill, dunno.

Also the loot is pretty uninspired, but only level 32 so whatever.

Still liked it. Gave me an itch to play the first one again.......
