Lot of hype (huge marketing spend for this movie, ads everywhere) so went in with high expectations.

For a full hour nothing of any real substance happens. They use premonitions and dreams to build up.

Nosferatu is what I'd consider a decent romance horror.

If you are the type of guy that needs to see every body horror, then I guess you could get a watch out of this. The woke is not subtle. Guy being proposed to by his girl sets it off in a major modern audience scene, then the guy can't drive a car due to anxiety issues and relies on her because he's so weak.

but somehow off 1 teachers salary they can afford a 6000sq/ft mansion

Yeah, I have this as woke trash. But I am not some body horror expert.

So maybe this gets big points with someone on FOH for body horror, who knows...

As a romance horror, it's pure trash that'd get shut off. It's not a good romance horror movie. It's not a well-made horror movie. But I don't know how to score it as a body horror because I don't really care about that genre at all. If there is some body horror Cronenberg expert on this forum-- step forward and let us know what you think about it.

i haven't even seen the trailer but i assume from the title and poster its one of those weird "so they merge together into one body and it gets fucked up" kinda movies

weirder/grosser than the Substance?

the cool thing is the two leads are married IRL so that is interesting i guess
