Don't all sets have equal chance to drop anywhere now? Or did you just mean quantity?

Yeah any set can drop anywhere now, but I think DZ is probably better in terms of quantity if you have a good crew. Higher risk/higher reward and all.

I started up again after looking at this thread a few days ago when 1.4 dropped, I was only 166 GS or so, now I'm 229. Been in the DZ a few times and while you could get more loot in the DZ, if potential PvP isn't your thing, there's plenty of loot outside the DZ. I made a ton of credits by selling golds just by running around slapping all the 4 hour respawning bosses while doing phones/echos and drone locations. I've got 4pc AlphaBridge, Banshee, Hunters Faith, and DeadEYE, with a few pieces from everything else. Going to power up a new character today to get some more bag space to carry all these set pieces.

With recent sales finally got some people to pick this up that have never played it. Looking forward to playing 1-30 with a group.

Tinkered a little w/ my level 30 character I abandoned before the first DLC. Feel so lost, zerged a supply drop and got like 4 'high end' drops, all upgrades. Fun times.

Wish I had more time to play this now.

Anyone here happen to know if +1000 LMG or +10% elite damage is stronger on gloves? My AlphaBridge gloves are making me choose between those two until I can get another pair to drop that hopefully has LMG/elite%/HoK.

I assume elite% wins, since the base dmg on my M60 E4 is 16.3k.

For strictly Challenge Mode PVE, I think you are right. I don't think it applies to purple (veteran) enemies though. Most conventional wisdom says that the first thing you want on almost any gloves is +dmg to your preferred weapon though so that's what I went with.

Since my first LMG roll was really low, I decided I'd stop rerolling it when I got either 1000+ LMG or 10% elite, and ended up at the $1.6M mark before getting 10%. That shit gets ridiculous fast.

Thinking of picking this up for PC. A little worried how a bad ping might affect things being a shooter and all. Will be playing mostly solo, but this could change depending on how much I enjoy the game.

Are all the servers in the US? If so I would expect a ping of around 200 ~ 250 ms, given that I live in Australia. (That's what it was like in WoW before Blizzard gave us local servers)

Anyone playing with a similar ping to that have any advice to offer? Thanks.

It drops to $35 or so during some Steam sales, physical PC copy has been as low as $25 recently at Amazon.

The Division – Survival Expansion and 1.5 Update Incoming - UbiBlog - Ubisoft®

Survival comes hand-in-hand with a huge new update that’s free for all players: the 1.5 patch, also available November 22 on Xbox One and PC (with the PS4 version due out slightly later), adds a slew of new content, changes, and fixes to improve the overall experience. The update adds a new Tier 5 bracket for high-level players, raising the maximum Gear Score to 256 and introducing level-34 enemies. Named Gear items, bigger stashes, and more are on the way – here’s a quick look at some of what’s in store:

Game changes

  • Added World Tier 5 bracket (230+ GS)
    • Enemy NPCs are level 34.
    • Maximum Gear Score raised to 256.
    • Heroic Incursions are now available in Tier 5 only.
  • Named Gear items have been implemented in the game. One piece is available for each Gear Slot and each one comes with a unique Talent. Named Gear items can only be acquired in World Tier 5 or in Survival game mode.
    • [Mask] Ferro’s oxygen mask: Players can move and shoot while under burn status effect.
    • [Knee Pads] Shortbow championship pads: Grenades have shortened fuse timer.
    • [Holster] Colonel Bliss’ holster: Powerful improvements for sidearms.
    • [Gloves] Skulls MC gloves: Increased damage when no gear set bonuses are active.
    • [Chestpiece] Barrett’s bulletproof: Powerful bonuses when skills are on cooldown.
    • [Backpack] NinjaBike messenger bag: Less DZ loot and DZ XP lost when dying in the Dark Zone.
  • Enemy Armor Damage now functions in PVP: damage calculation in PvP ignores a percentage of the target’s armor equal to one third of the shooter’s Enemy Armor Damage.
  • Stagger now functions in PvP: high-stagger weapons (Shotguns and Marksman rifles primarily) will now cause the target’s aim to flinch.
  • Tactical Advance: This talent will now provide a maximum of 30% damage increase.
  • Stash size has been increased from 70 to 150 total items.
Loot, rewards & vendors

  • NPCs now have chances to drop crafting materials. Chances to drop higher quality increases with World Tiers.
  • Season Pass Open World Supply Drops will now scale with World Tier. Opening a supply drop in World Tier 1 will reward with Gear Score 163, 182 in World Tier 2, etc.
  • Items in the Scavenger crate in the Base of Operations will now scale with World Tier.
  • Vendors will now scale to player’s Gear Score, independently from the World Tier they’re in. This means that the Gear Score and currency value of goods they sell will adapt to the player’s Gear Score.
  • We have adjusted the Credits and Phoenix Credits rewards for Main Missions, High Value Targets and Incursions to better scale with World Tier. This results in an overall increase starting from World Tier 4 and above.
  • Modified rewards from completing weekly assignments:
    • Moved 30 Phoenix Credits from the weekly assignment reward to put them inside the weekly assignment cache (the total amount is still the same)
    • Added one extra High-End Mod inside the weekly assignment cache

There is more then enough "end game" content with another update due out soon (1.5). What world tier are you playing on; 1-4? What are your stats? Are you at all interested in PVP in the DZ? In a given game I probably sell 500k worth of 229 "junk gear" as I am looking towards a better Alpha Bridge build, weapons too. For me the game opened up after I completed the last story mission and opened world tier 4. I am have a blast logging on and trying to build my character to "melt" players in the DZ.
