Yes, deadlines is the reason they can't launch with 25 races. Not because that's 20 dlc packs at $20 per for the other 20 races. Definitely the deadlines.

These guys need to pick up the quality of their shit.

TW:WH 1 -> 2 were great, 3 is underwhelming.

The first one came out nearly 10 years ago, recycling the same mechanics and power creeping new factions has worn out.

The same core game with different models will wear off real fast.

It's not a day 1 for me simply because of the limited amount of factions. Once they add $400 of DLC to this, I'm probably in.

100% agree. It will be buggy and broken day one. I’m giving it 6-12 months for fixes and fine tuning, then I’ll play it a ton.

I mean ever since like Shogun 2 I've been pining for a TW 40k game and even before that I've always wanted a 40k 4x. I'm just afraid my hype is gonna fast surpass what is delivered.

Yeah I mean Games Workshop is relentlessly infesting the IP with faggotry and have always been money-grubbing assholes, and CA is no stranger to money-grubbing assholedom, and odds are incredibly high that the game is gonna suck ass at first, but these large corporations desperately need your money and support so definitely buy it day 1.
