I know it's pretty early for this post considering the album doesn't come out for another two months (January 27), but we have enough prog heads here that will care about the info. Transatlantic is probably my favorite Portnoy group next to Dream Theater and Liquid Tension Experiment. Stolt is just a badass and I like the more old school approach to their tunes. Much more Yes and less metal.
They released a music video for one of the tunes. It's the standard Morse acoustic cheesy feel-good tune that I'm rarely a fan of. This one is slightly above average due to some decent chord changes and, of course, a sweet Stolt solo. They're also going on a tour and I picked up front row tickets for the SF show in February. Stoked for that show. Always a treat to see Portnoy live.
As expected, North American tour dates are pretty sparse.
