Well, he found out the final boss in the race was the reanimated corpse of his sister. This was after spending a long time living happily in the cabin with Quiet and whatever that other girls name was. Oh and the demon magician blamed the bombing on John, so they are all wanted now. And finally we see that Sweet Tooth survived and was kidnapped and being brought to his father.

I never played the game.
I clocked his voice from the first line too but I didn't figure out who it was till the race started, and at that point I thought brenjamin was roald or another of his crew because their rapport was so good. I finally had to look it up though.

yeah stu won and his wish was to be in a safe place away from any danger with his black friend and calypso instantly teleported him to a space shuttle, the whole calypso/magic aspect of the show is bizarre and i don't get it at all but i assume its game related shit. also the very last teaser i think is suggesting axel (black dude on wheels) will be back, upgrading himself.
calypso says right around then "now this is when the game REALLY begins!" so clearly his plan all along was to involve quiet/john in a war against the cities, i just wonder if they will try to continue the tournament metastory or just go into a battle royale style innies vs outies open war.
its hard to pin down what anyone would care about twisted metal, honestly its just the fun stupid post apocalyptic shenanigans and the crazy violence. like the things people do are incredibly stupid but hilarious too
