Now he just needs a sequel to Rain Man and Cocktail and I guess he can die after that.

That movie is probably still my favorite Tom Cruise film ever. I think I watch it about once a year.
And it's fantastic in 3D. The spinning aliens look incredible. Have you ever read the Japanese novel it was roughly based on?

All You Need is Kill - paperback
Or free version for a device.

Actually, here's a manga of the same, in case you need to read it in comic book form...

No, I haven't read the manga but I should probably pick up a copy at some point. I did find all my comic books with packing stuff up. I pulled out my Matt Wagner Grendel:War Child omnibus. I forgot how much I loved that series of comics. Grendel Prime is just such a badass.

You mean Edge of tomorrow?
Blunt's character is named after this character in Groundhog Day.

I'm on the Tom Cruise bandwagon. I liked the first one and will give this a shot.
I want to say that the greatest scene of the entire movie was when he tried to roll underneath the passing truck when they were doing like PT, and he screamed out like a girl because he got run over by the truck, and Bill Paxton was like holy shit. The first like third of the movie is hilarious, but then it changes gears and it becomes serious and like really fucking amazing.

Wtf you talking about lol
Have you not watched thatmovie in a long time. Like literally the first at least quarter or third of the movie is is pretty funny I' the town of the whole film and then it gets like serious when he starts learning from his deaths and then it's like hardcore fighting the aliens. But the damn scene where he's doing PT with the platoon and he tries to escape and rolls under the truck and gets run over and screams out, and Paxton is like oh my God, dude it's great.

One of the reasons is such a good movie because as long enough but it it shifts from something that's introducing you to the whole deal and it's kind of enjoyable and funny and then it gets pretty God damn serious, and it's a great goddamn action movie getting into the second half.
