they filmed 4 complete episodes and will have to reshoot all the scenes with Kratos. Its wild, you rarely hear of someone getting injured so badly they get replaced. Torn bicep is no joke though and will take months of surgery and PT to recover, and may never be fully mobile again. ouch.
wonder how salaries and payouts and stuff work in that case, the dude was injured literally doing his job. If he can never work again? An actor never getting another job is way different than an amazon worker getting injured on the job in terms of future salary, earnings, etc. I assume insurance also pays out for the down time now while they recast and then have to pay everyone all over to reshoot.
I thought they'd use stunt doubles for all this stuff, the guy is 50 years old a tiny bit younger than me. I switched to using smiths machines and no barbells/dumbbells at the gym a year or two ago, free weights were just causing way too much injury. I can't imagine a 50 year old actor besides Tom Cruise doing his own stunts.
