"White Vision."

I can already foresee some glorious memes coming out of this show.

Don't like the direction theyre going with this. Stories where nothing is real and its all inside someones head generally end up retarded and pointless. Hard to think of any exceptions to that rule. Not even the one this forum inexplicably loved.

The stuff where he wrestles with his identity is in his head this has scenes in the real world, it looks to be be like Wandavision but he isnt trapped. The actual story with him and Speed is real as well. Agatha All Along is going to be the context watch. Paladin is the bad guy in this and thats all IRL.

I hope you're right because I like the character and premise.

Its one of the many problems with "its all in his head" stories, even watching a trailer for it seems pointless. Was scene X real or in his head, who knows! So artsy!

Hopefully you're right that they're not going that way.

NGL, I enjoyed the trailer, and that is very probably a first for a Disney+ Marvel series. I also get the balance. He has to sort the shit in his head so he can sort the shit IRL. I can run with that. I've been a huge James Spader fan for a long time and it looks like they're shooting for an Ultron meets Raymond Reddington feel would be completely fine by me as I think that would be fun. The fact that in the show he's essentially sporting my exact hair/beard style and honestly not that terribly off from how I find myself dressing when I need to have "look fancy and like you know a lot" meetings with customers is icing on the cake.

I'll probably give it a go and hope for the best. Which is better than any other Disney+ series (the closest I came was almost watching She Hulk). Hopefully someone will throw down a cliff's notes of what I need to know from that Agatha All Along series if it's really the background since there's no way in hell I'm watching that.

I love both Bettany and Spader so I’ll be watching this. Hopefully it’s not trash.

Re: white vision, what powers him? I don’t remember much about WandaVision. Without the mind stone, how powerful is he, and if he’s basically as powerful as regular Vision minus the laser… how?

Probably can't phase anymore either. Or wield Mjolnir, not that this will give him that opportunity.

Did he not use the density/phasing abilities in WandaVision?

Okay yep he could. The Mind Stone gave original Vision consciousness, and unified all of the AI's together. The rebuilt Vision by SWORD had all of his memories but they locked them up to use him as a weapon and Wandavision's version unlocked them for him. Without the Mind Stone he lacks the empathy and emotions and understanding of life of the original and the core of this show will be him getting those back.

So its the laser and the interacting with other technology like he did with Ultron's swarm that will be missing.

I believe the reason he could wield Mjolnir was the fact that he's not actually a living being, ergo the spell on the hammer couldn't judge him as worthy or not. Same reason Mjolnir left on an elevator could go up and down and not just slam the elevator to the first floor.

With all the CGI they're needing I'm sure someone just asked "For God's sake, can we save the budget of the 9 ft tall walking robot? Just put Spader in a beard."

Still always going to see him as the original Dr. Daniel Jackson unlocking the stargates. Same with Paul Bettany and his Knight's Tale role.
