I thought the first two episodes were surprisingly good.
The 'Paladin' is treading a bit too close to the camp line, although that may be more contrast with how serious the rest of it is.
Spader definitely a highlight, the 'end of the world' bit was gold.

Oh shit, just started watching it. Paladin is a nice throwback character/hero to throw in.

Early writing was cheesy and shitty as fuck, but I think that was intentional to lure you into a Wanda Vision feeling whereas this may get more gritty. I mean, he's already killed a LOT of people which is pretty insane for a Marvel show outside of the Punisher, and even then Frank doesn't kill THAT many people until final episodes usually.

Almost like casting white men as your main characters is good for show success?
Not that I've watched this yet, but it's the one thing that sticks out from all the other Marvel trash.

Writing is starting to require dumb things to be done for the plot to continue. Vision, Paladin, even the new character HAVE to make such bad choices or we don't get the story.
But I'd rather have the story that was set up in the first two episodes than the swerve this is.
