On Badoinkvr, looks like you can DL free VR vids for use on a few different headset, but who the hell has these already?! I sure as hell don't.
So, Badoink points to a place to get FREE carboard VR headsets (compatible with phones!)Free VR Goggles
Freevrgoggles also has all the links to compatible vr apps.

Is it Oculus? hell no, but it's a start and it's a free headset for phone use and to top it all off Badoink seems to have links to DL compatible formats for the phone using cardboard goggles.

Cardboard goggles seem like a bad idea imo. I have a Rift and they have padding insulating the device from your face and even that gets uncomfortable to wear after a while. Looking at those cardboard things, it seems like the cardboard is directly against your face while being held snug by an elastic band. That seems like it would be downright painful after a few minutes.

Initial results... seems kinda cool, worth it as a 13 dollar gimmick at least. Not a lot of videos out there available for free (yet), seems like there are a lot of games, but those all require a rift...

Got a cardboard working with my nexus 5, but I can't get much working with any decent (free) porn, I can get videos to play both regular and 3d but can't get head tracking working. (The head with the cardboard on it of course)

This is new enough that there is not a lot of easy to use support.
