A true war machine is not about the precision in striking the intended target, it's about causing as much collateral damage as possible without running out of ammunition to finish the job.

This was bad, but we knew that going in. Just wanted a silly action movie and silly action movie is what we got.

My main issue with the movie turned out to be not liking the mech design. It didn't seem like the type of advanced tech I have come to expect from a space fairing race.

If they had done 30 minutes of the actual militaries around the world fighting these things it would have been more entertaining than this entire story. They picked the most boring one on the planet to focus on: a unit crashed in the woods vs ground forces with no backup.

This was an ad for the Rangers with a Mech in it. IDK why these jokers are so worried about more coming when it took many shots and mines to take out an old APV but whatever.

Anyways this was embarrassing.

I turned it off once the stupid alien mech started killing them all in the woods. This movie would have been better if they kept it as a redemption story for a guy with a chip on his shoulder joining the Rangers to get back at terrorists. Yes, I understand that's a whole different movie but the best part of this movie was the Ranger training part. Everything else was shit.
