I'll probably check it out eventually, as someone who was there in 2006 and worked semi-supporting the SEALs.

If there isn't a gratuitous workout scene though, I'll know it's bullshit.

Saw it last night, short and sweet. Really good combat scenes. There's pretty much no politics to it, just gun fighting... except maybe I dont recall seeing any of the baddies actually get killed but given some of the tactics being used, there's no way they didn't get a few of them. :trump:

It's a single contained event. Graphic and intense.

Very good.

The sound was holy fuck

Alamo Drafthouse filled with marines

I saw civil war and was like “wow, great combat scenes, terrible story”. They fixed it with this one and just focused on the combat and retelling what these guys went through, without adding to their retelling of it.

Civil War marketing was like that movie 'Reign of Fire' where the posters showed dragons fighting the army/helicopters and instead we got a couple dudes in the UK countryside with axes going after a dragon that only showed up for like 5-10 minutes. People went in with different expectations and as a result, people were disappointed the film didn't match the expectations they got from the marketing.

That's why I avoid trailers like the plague
