I don't disagree with that.
I think my fundamental problem with the game was that it didn't fulfill the power fantasy in a way that felt satisfying to me. Helldivers 2 felt like what I would have wanted out of a W40K single character game. I felt strong but also very vulnerable.

if memory serves Fatshark has done that repeatedly in the past so more likely they just fucked up with the Skitarii's design.

I just reinstalled this game for the first time in I dunno...8 months or something, started a Skitarius.
This build is OP as fuck, or Arc Rifle is overtuned as fuck.

I was deleting everything at distance from like level 15 on, often beating level 30s in my group with full gear, while using low level, unbuilt gear. That rifle just destroys ranged specials, hordes, bosses, whatever. Mind you of course I'm not playing on max difficulty either (regular Auric.) Game seems to be in a really fun state at the moment. Dogs are great, servo skulls are great. I spent some time optimizing settings and shit runs way better than last I played.
