No reviews at all yet, just a small journos preview play test at Sabers offices.

The PS5 expected performance is pretty sad, 4k/30 (no idea if it's a stable 30) or 1080/60 (up to 60)..lol.

PC doesn't seem that much better, with the recommended specs offering 1080/60 ultra with a 3070/i7-12700.

That would be the one killer question, is if you believe in their releases, and the season pass being worth it bundling it w/ game vs having to pay for it monthly or whatever after?

Well that’s a hard pass for me until a mod comes out or they decide to support ultrawide. 2024 and can’t believe some games doesn’t support ultrawide monitors.

Ultrawide will always remain niche because most devs aren't going to spend the time to make it native. It is why I went back to a 32 inch after having an ultrawide setup. Was cool but always something to tweak or mod.

Curved 32" works great for me. At least for fpv games. Pretty immersive.

Probably in about 2-3hrs from if they hold to the 24hrs before release. Only really looking for PS5 performance reviews. Most journos will be playing on 4090's, so their thoughts on performance will be mostly meaningless. Maybe DF will have something out today.

I have one on right now. I dont care if there's a black space marine, not at all. But this company being blatantly ESG (stay tuned for our ESG report!) and getting a dollar from me is out of the question.

Yeah same for me, looks awesome and by all account it’s super fun but 6 hours campaign and 6 end game pve mission that last 30 minutes each. That’s simply not enough content for me to enjoy.

The first year roadmap is very anemic as well. I'm convinced companies don't know how to make a live service game that isn't a MMO.

A 6 hour campaign without filler bullshit is a huge plus in my book, as someone who has finished exactly 3 single player games in 10 years. 4 if you count the Destiny 2 campaign (I don't.)
