.... they literally just had a article they published lecturing about fascism and the imperium isn't too be held up as heroes. Don't wizards of the coat style purges of social media and events of wrong think and courting wanting women players. Actively gone away from grim dark.
I'm not going to do the foot work if you've been oblivious for half a decade. There's plenty of 40k type meme pages on Facebook that would be glad to bring you up to speed on their heresy.

Loved Space Marine, day 1 purchase for me if it gets decent reviews.
There's quite a bit of WH40k games out there ( Every Warhammer 40,000 game, ranked ) but I still feel like it's an under-represented IP in gaming. Would love a strong story/squad shooter in the same vein as Mass Effect. I have no strong opinions on era / protagonist other than it'd probably be a mistake to let you play as or have control over Astartes. For a story driven shooter / rpg The Astartes are best kept at arms length where they can maintain their larger-than-life personas without cracking them with detail or over-exposure.
Something like a Xenos agent like John Grammaticus ( John Grammaticus - Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum ) or commisar like Ciaphas Cain ( Ciaphas Cain - Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum ) would be great.
Anyway, hyped for Space Marine 2.

Granted like some fandom corruptions, it hasn't just been the company. Many of the groups on Facebook, publications, tourney organizers etc are predominantly european and embrace the faggot inclusiveness stuff while heartedly and beat or ran off the others to where they have reddit like control. The based type of groups occasionally get infiltrated and then facebook reported into the hurty thoughts jail.

Yeah that's how they did the mains in the Inquisitor ARPG. They knew they couldn't make you a Space Marine. I own it, haven't played it in a while as it was TERRIBLE in the beginning and meh when "improved". (In my opinion, of course, as my prior critique of the original Space Marine game has gotten some thumbs down).

There were no good guys in the 40K universe until the Tau and the introduction of a 'good guy' race got so much pushback that they got dirtied up quite a bit in the ensuing years. There's nothing new about the Imperium essentially being Space Nazis regardless of whether or not some newly woke faggots are trying to soapbox about it.

The trailer looks like it's done in the same vein as the Astartes YouTube series. I know there was a big hullabaloo with games workshop over it, but I wonder if they ended up conscripting the creator to help make content for future projects, including this one.
The animation just seems so damn similar, and even the sound effects too, but maybe it's just me.
