Damn. I still regularly listen to Wisconsin Death Trip, it was one of the first albums I ever bought.

They were my favorite band in college along with Powerman 5000. I was planning on seeing his live show in Houston at the end of this month. Fucking sucks.

Looking drug related based on Tweets from other musicians.

He sat in front of me at the Affliction show in 09 when Fedor fought Arlovski. Had a really young chick hanging on his arm all night. Don't know if that was the porn star or not. Seemed like a nice enough dude and enjoyed the fights. Will go listen to my Wisconsin Death Trip CD in remembrance.

Powerman 5000 and Static X were my favorites in the 90's. More Powerman 5000, but Static X had a special place.

Very sad.

Saw them open for fear factory and SOAD in a small dive venue 15 or so years ago. Very very good live show.

I got WDT and got all their autographs; back when I gave a shit about getting autographs.

I saw Static X open for Fear Factory and Disturbed in the basement of a church in Scranton, PA. This was back in like '98 range. It was a REALLY cool concert experience. The walls/floor of the basement were concrete. It was so fucking loud, but the entire area was a mosh pit. And if I remember, the stage was only about a foot or two in the air above the floor and the ceiling of the place was only 10 feet total. My favorite concert to date.

I wish I had gone to the Metallica Free Concert in Philly at the old Vet Stadium, but my boss (dad) insisted that I come in to work that day. I still regret not going to that show.

Please don't lump Pantera and and Faith No More with bands like Powerman 5000 and Static X.

Im not really lumping them in or comparing them, but they kind of rode the venues of those other acts. Like if you went to an Ozz fest, you saw them all and some others. It was the whole experience.

Damn....this fucking sucks. Really loved his (band) first albums. Biggest mosh pit i have ever been was during "This is not."
