Amazing, a preview that leaves you wondering what the hell is going on. I am stunned.
Yeah that's been ongoing conversation we've been having regarding movie trailers. Some are cut extremely well that just hooks you into wanting to watch it, while others just give away the entire plot.

I wonder if this is actually going to be some sort of pied Piper scenario but modern day. That or aliens, I'm hoping it's aliens.

I'll definitely check it out when it's available.

I was coming to comment on the trailer and it's leaving you wanting more but you all beat me to it. So I won't point out how well done the trailer was compared to the majority of trailers. I won't point that out at all, since it's already been pointed out how well this trailer is compared to others.

Seems like Zach Cregger’s follow-up to Barbarian is told through multiple interwoven storylines (think Magnolia, but horror), and digs into corruption, supernatural forces, and "possibly" witchcraft. The script caused a bidding war, with New Line picking it up and offering Cregger full creative control, including final cut. Pedro Pascal was originally cast but had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts.
There’s also a fake town newspaper site updating in real time until release—with one article directly referencing the Detroit property from Barbarian, confirming it takes place in the same universe. Check out the updates here: Maybrook News

TMDB lists a 2h 8min runtime, but the test screening runtime is 2 hours and 20 minutes, and the test screening has been very successful.

Looks pretty good.

I thought Barbarian was a pretty decent movie, I'm guessing this one's probably going to be screwed up as it was. After the trailer, which I was worried it was going to reveal too much, I still don't really know where it's going to go, but I'm sticking with my Pied Piper theory.

Isn't the dude directing this and did Barbarian one of The Whitest Kids You Know? I want to say apparently he was from sketch comedy troop.
