Its a decent show. The most recent season was by far the best. They stepped up the writing a good bit.

This came shortly after the original movie and was born out of a simple short they filmed for the fuck of it. It was only because the first series of this was well received that we got the genius that is the FX version.

The leads are so delightfully clueless.

The accent is what does it for me. I imagine it is the same for most of the US fan base. It wouldn't be funny at all if it was just some clueless idiots with US accents (except maybe Bostoners) but the accent just puts it over the top.
