I hear ya. Even if I personally do not "do summers" anymore, I feel that energy needs to happen, people need it, the great Spirit In The Sky needs it, the grass needs it, music needs it. But it just is not the time. As the old Byrds tune goes, there is a season. In fact, gonna post that one. I've been listening to it a lot.
But here is the good news. Some day, when this mess is over, that summer is going to be one of the best summers ever. Everyone is going to realize, bands, fans, even guys who take the tickets at the gate, are all gonna be high on life just from how great it is to be back.
But there is a Season for everything, I guess.
