You can watch all of old Fred Dibnah's vids on YouTube when he was on the BBC back in the 70s and 80s. Just a working class steeplejack who brought some light to an otherwise mundane profession. It's really fascinating stuff though. He was also an odd super hobbyist who rebuilt a traction engine because it sounded cool.
