Turned PC Gamepass on to check out the new Monster Train and was pleasantly surprised to find out Expedition 33 was there as well. Expedition 33 really is a masterpiece but I find myself firing up another round of Monster Train more often than not when I have a couple hours to play something.

Just finished with all the single-player content in Mario Kart 9 (didn't take long), looking for something else to do with the Switch 2 (lol). Might resume Mario Odyssey. I beat the game but only had like 150/900 moons. I got all the Stars/Shines in the other 3D Marioes, but Odyssey has like a zillion of them so I'm not sure how to even tackle that or what "100%ing" the game even looks like. The others were all like, 120, 150, whatever stars.

I gave robocop a try but noped out rather quickly

If you're a fan of the Robocop films, the game is a love letter to them. It starts out pretty generic but the story is honestly pretty good, and the game has a lot of side missions and an emphasis on police/detective work I wasn't expecting from a Robocop video game. NG+ is also pretty great because you keep all the skills you unlocked so you start the game as "really Robocop", one-shotting pretty much everyone instantly. I'd give it another shot later if you run out of games to play again, it's really quite good.

gameplay feels like a rail shooter, like you'd play in an arcade.

might be cool with a light gun or something but feels shitty as fuck on a controller

When I wrote my first parking ticket as Robocop my appreciation for the game went up greatly.

Enshrouded in co-op. Survival tediousness can be removed in settings, making it amazing for me. The lighting is AAAA, just stunning. Early access, but 30 hours in I cannot tell.

Recently started Tainted Grail. Enjoying it so far, it has the tediousness of the other open world RPG's though and that wears on me.
It was Tainted Grail of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, went with TG (cause... magic).

I’ve deliberately avoided all Balder’s Gate 3 content for the last year. Didn’t want any spoilers. Consensus around here positive? Was it too full of woke shit? Was it as good as or better than Larian’s Divinity games?

It gave a new meaning to people choosing the bear.

Amazing game with a mediocre ending imo. Still, great fun.

Has woke elements but im told after the first few patches they removed the gays gaying at you after saying just hello. So you dont get ambushed with all that so much. All the party members and voices and storylines pretty good.

When i played act 3 felt....rushed. not sure if improved

You can skip all that if wanted. A few lines of conversation that starts and you can shut it down and that is the end of it.

Act 3 still feels like they ran out of time and threw everything they had into the game. But you can see the woke shit coming and can shut it down and you don't get any more of it.

This early access'd today. Looks like a mix of arpg and auto battler, maybe a survivors-like a bit too? Curious to hear if anyone tries it.

A top game of all time. The 3 main male protagonists are all cucks (gay vampire sucklord, mommy dommy warlock, absolute simp wizard). It has a billion woke options. You can avoid all of it easily and the options to do so are pretty clear, usually a "bottom row" blunt fuck off type.

If all the woke games were even half as good as bg3 people wouldn't bitch about being woke, the games that good.

BG3 has a solid argument for best CRPG of all time.

As far as woke goes - do you want to fuck bears ? No ? Then don't fuck bears.

Are you worried you might be tempted to fuck bears ? There's probably an anti-bear-fucking mod available to download.

Are you deeply offended at the idea that other people might fuck bears ? Best stay away, your ideological purity would be tainted by contact with this filth.

It's really tough to compare, since a lot of the GOATs are lacking context of their release dates. The CRPG genre was effectively "dead" for quite a while, sometime shortly after NWN2. It really wasn't until around the time Divinity: Original Sin released that you started seeing a slow resurgence.
