What vehicle do you drive?

Since I don't drive to work a set of PS4S usually lasts me a couple years at least. I'm on my third new set on my M3P and I got it in 2019.

You don't have rain issues with the Cup 2's? I drove around on NT01's in my 997.2 Turbo for a while, but got caught in the rain and was actually sliding sideways while sitting still down the crown of the road, had to keep moving. Do not recommend.
No issues unless its standing water deep enough to be a hazard for any tire. The siping is real good if you drive normal, its 100% no different than another tire.

It is because the tread blocks are bigger and have less ability to evacuate water, and since they last about 1500-2k miles, you're going to be driving around on them with 1 or 2/32nd's of tread, which means they're going to operate like slicks.

They certainly are different than another tire but if it's working for you and you haven't died in a tragic rain accident yet, great.

I also don't drive those cars in the rain. I'll choose something else if the forecast is bad. However, I've done Cup 2's on the track at COTA in the wet and while you can't go more than 7/10ths, they're still grippy enough. But yes, they do evacuate less water than other tires. What I would NEVER run in the rain is some Mickey Thompson ET Streets or Toyo R888Rs. Those are suicide with water.

When I got caught in the rain it was on the way back from MSR, but if you don't drive those cars when it rains or looks like rain, problem 100% solved.

After that incident with the NT01's I stopped driving to the track and got a little tire trailer and a hitch and started running Hoosiers. 911 Turbo going down I-20 pulling a tire trailer was quite a sight. :)

I honestly love seeing race cars doing that. Makes me smile so much.

For normies like me just trying to get around without crashing, so far I'm extremely pleased with the Michelin CrossClimate 2's on wet/dry, snow will be the real test soon...
