Roll on Friday, really interested in trying this out - a guy I follow on youtube seems to think combat is short of Sekiro/Nioh/ER, but similar/better than games like GOT, AC:S, etc. Also, a lot of boss fight videos on youtube that look pretty good/interesting.
Kind of reminds me of Lost Ark in a way, and I'll put some time in this weekend and report back.

The Chinese non gatcha games really just function on skins most the time. They will have 40k USD cosmetics. I'm not kidding.

There's a difference between Korean MMOs (which are significantly P2W by & large) and Chinese games (such as this one). An example of this would be Marvel Rivals (which will have the same publisher as this): they make their money off skins, cosmetics, etc but there's nothing to increase your power or buy.

combat looks cool but complicated. Looks like a lot of dependance on timing the blocks/dodges for skills to stack and DPS to stack. One reviewer made a comment that during group boss "raids" if one person screws up the timing you've just wasted an hour. Not sure how that is going to go over with Western audiences
Open world concept looks amazing. Graphics look great! But I read it is mostly a single player game at the beginning and you level into MMORPG status with boss fights and PvP. Sounds like Shroud of the Avatar which I dont think anyone really enjoyed. Hopefully Im wrong. Really looking forward to hearing what people think.
