Does the game eventually open up? I tried it yesterday and got up to the guy at the very start who gives you the bow book. It was a slog just to get that far though. I hate games where you have to spend 90% of the first 5 hours watching cutscenes and story shit and tutorials. Just let me play a fucking game.104 hours and still enjoying it.
I played some Assassin's Creed style camp clearing yesterday. Use the Invisibility and the Touch of Death Mythic Arts and cleared the camps without being seen. It was fun, but I prefer clearing them fighting since combat is so much fun.
I finally got the Treasure Hunter passive, and now the closest Chest is highlighted on the mini map. I found so MANY chest I had missed in place I had been to already. It's a testament to how good they are at hiding stuff.
Some of these side quests are just awesome. I wish the localization was better so they would be less "corny".
This is probably going to end up in my top 3 games of all time, even with all the little issues. Seeing all the content that China received in the last year is sorta exciting, knowing there's more to come. Like the map is more than double the size it is right now.

Not really a patch to speak of - there is a time based gate that locks people at different level caps. It's at 6 right now, max level of 55, and 7 becomes available at 0 GMT today (I believe)I was watching a streamer yesterday doing a sponsored stream and he mentioned a patch today is going to increase level cap and add some new weapon/sect options
They do like their cutscenes. And menus. The longer cutscenes, when you skip, it gives you a summary output of what you will miss when you skip.Does the game eventually open up?
