I've always wondered why people don't just hold their breath while doing this? That way if you pass out, you still breath. Or is it a tightness around your neck kind of thing? In which case, you could always hold something really tight against your neck so that if you pass out, your hand lets go and the tight thing loosens and you keep breathing.
This has nothing to do with Wooly. I was just wondering if he really died (after Keg linked this threat in a GoT threat post, I had to read it).
