The ruby never caused wipes for us on mythic Il'gynoth for my guild. People going ham on the slimes when tentacles/horror was up is what caused wipes.

we had a problem with mages (we had 5 with rubies) going ham on the slimes when we only wanted to kill 2 and ended up killing 5-6. the Ruby is also bad ass on DH all of their abilities are classified as spells so even though it isn't on their loot table its a bad motherfucker on them.

Yeah the dispel timings on some of those breaths on Guarm are really unforgiving. People need to be fast as fuck and when trying to do things fast, it's hard to get the positioning done right especially when you have three people with a single foam trying to pass it off to the same person while not passing to each other.

yea that was the problem, there was a bit of RNG with foams and which breathe you dispell them before or dispell them after. Our last few attempts looked great and we were getting through the second (third?) stampede with most of the dps alive and then we would lose a random healer which is generally a wipe if its during a window that dispells have to go out.
Hopefully we down him tonight we are really pushing for Helya before nighthold release.

I ordered a GTX 1080 overnight and I got it and right before I put it in my computer my computer shut off by itself, tried booting it up and it kept failing.. my PSU died the day I got the 1080 before I even put it in LMAO

WoW has some frame rate issues with the 1070/1080 apparently so you should get better performance down the line once they fix it.

I run mostly max settings with my 1070 minus shadows and it's usually around 90 all the way up to 200. Depends where I am. I use a 144 Hz monitor so I'm trying to find a 144fps balance.

Can't you cap fps and just tune down something useless a tad so you are always fps capped at 144?

yeah usually what I end up doing, I avoid dal as much as I can though cause I still get atrocious load times. Quicker to hearth somewhere and fly there, lol.

I could but I don't get screen tearing when it's over 144 unless there's some other benefit I didn't know about. Honestly with this game it's usually under 144 more often than not.
Now overwatch on the other hand I average 220 fps lol

Ilyg seems the one fight were more gear seems to make it harder. You will always have to 2 eye phase it. So the increased dps just seems to effect the ichors phase and makes it tougher, as everyone has passive cleave these days and slightly increased health and gear on healers will never let you blow up 4 or more and live through it(without something like a planned spirit link or such).

It's weird how people experience slow load times into Dal. Mine is less than 12 seconds on average. With the 7.1 patch it made the WoD Garrison loadscreen take a good 2-3 minutes. Fucking annoying, since I enjoy using it for my Auction House (vs porting to Dal, running to the portal, and flying to the Org AH).

after last night Guarm became the most expensive progression boss in the expansion with 87 wipes 80ish of them with full pots/consumables. We just dont have the dps alive to kill him before he enrages, we dropped our 5th healer for a rogue and we are getting him to 1-2% but we have several folks dead after the second breathe, wasting Brez's that could be used later. I have a feeling a few of our folks dont 100% realize how the foams jump and the difference in a foam and a lick. Does anyone have a WA that could help with labeling who has what?
