Bliz has also been sending out e-mails for 7 days free.
Once you use that, you can then send scrolls of res out while basically on a free trial.
So i get to annoy the shit out of all my old friends while not knowing what the hell happened to my characters and abilities.

Ug they really need to have a mass character transfer, vastly reduce the cost of server transfers or merge servers, don't know wtf I was thinking taking free transfers in Cata, now I'm on a 200+ ranked server, with the AH being nonexistent and a total of 5 guilds registering tier 15 kills the best being 5/12, want to start playing again but not at $25 per toon.

What? You don't like paying more than a new release AAA game for a server & faction change? You clearly don't understand how businesses work, and fail to see how it's a legitimate cost for an automated process that takes a few seconds. And besides, it's not like you already pay some sort of monthly fee to Blizzard anyways. Fucking entitled prick.

Kotick needs a new bulk-purchase of souls, and Metzen needs a new 5k goatee trim, yo.

Get the bnet names of some of your friends and cross-server everything. AH will still suck, though.

They're not going to put him in as Warchief after spending so much time and effort building up Vol'Jin to be the next one.

Although the tears of all the Horde players having to follow a belf would be pretty amusing.

They really haven't pushed Vol'Jin for Warchief so much as him keeping his promise to Garrosh when Thrall made him Warchief: "You fuck up Garrosh, and the last thing you'll see will be my dagger going for your throat..."
The Dominance Offensive and Throne of Thunder storylines definitely are pushing Lor'Themar as new Warchief. It also gives them a handy way to make the Blood Elves relevant again, since they haven't done shit since BC.

I haven't gotten around to doing the Dominance Offensive stuff on my Horde character, wouldn't mind a quick synopsis.

5.3 is supposed to have even more shit with Vol'Jin, which could, as you said, simply be a buildup to him contributing in taking down Garrosh, but have we ever known Blizzard to not take the direct track when it comes to plot development? There's a clear line in place thus far, and I just can't see them not having had it all planned out since Cata.

Lor'Themar was just the obvious counterpart to Jaina for the ToT stuff. He's the only Horde racial leader with ties to the Sunreavers, who were put in as opposites to the Kirin Tor, which had to be in because Blizzard has some sort of hard-on for Jaina.

Actually, mmo-c had a spoiler post that purported that Lor'themar would become the new war chief and it was way before April. I think Vol'jin would then be the right hand man. It could play into some sort of Burning Legion themed xpac but I don't think the blood elves have a great connection beyond allying with Illidan for a short time for fel energy... It'd made more sense if Velen was staging a coup to tie to next xpac. I think I just called myself an idiot.

Vol'Jin is part of the troll uprising is he not? Is he going to rebel and then come back and take out Garrosh or is there some kind of Sha that has taken over Garrosh unbeknownst to us and Garrosh is the last raid boss of the expansion?

They announced an orgrimaar raid back at the last blizzcon I think. Vol'jin is gonna do that thing where an npc finishes a boss instead of us probably.

Edit: Unrelated, but Shuriken Toss and Deadly Throw in pvp is hilarious, it does sooo much damage, and with burst of speed you can kite people so easily lol
