Preciate it brother, but I was never a wow player. I played warcraft and thought wow was a huge downgrade.
I played both, different genres... Warcraft for me was drunk LAN parties at a buddies house when I was younger for the most part. I didn't get into MMOs until I met the wife (who was an EQ player)

It was an entirely different genre, apples and oranges, dogs and cats, innies and outies.

Exactly. Apples, Dogs, and innies are all clearly superior. Oranges, cats, and outies are all disgraces to fruits, pets, and belly buttons (respectively). Just like warcraft and wow.

I actually had hatred for them in the early EQ days because I was a mudder and MMOs stole all my MUD friends. It wasn't until EQ2 that a RL friend talked me into trying one.

I'm an idiot. Someone tell me why I can't get my names reserved. I redeemed a 1 week free play code and got the Battlenet app. Forever is installed and when I launch it asks me to choose my ruleset and all that, then when it tries to launch my realm I get: "Access to this realm requires an account with a valid access license (WOW51900337)". Looking at my account its set as WOW1, but none of the US servers will log in, just get that error. What am I doing wrong? I don't care that much really if I get a name reserved, but I do want to be able to make sure its all working correctly before the 4th.

edit: got my code and redeemed yesterday morning at 7am from Lasch, if it even matters
