Free trial as in the free week codes that were floating around? That sucks. I logged in for 30 min and got to level 4 already. Guess I’ll just make 3-4 alts and cap them all at 10 before my week is up and see if I want to sub.

So yeah, I'll safely call this smoothest new product/expansion launch I can remember...

Mrs. Haus Mrs. Haus and I went PvE Alliance (Haus and Bexara). Leveled to around 9. Then fished for a while.

Still just a little stunned by how nice the new lighting/fog/reflection/water engine is... Fishing in SW....

Just like I remember. I mean, with a weird UI and shit. And what the fuck is with those "new" graphics? I mean, they're not QUITE luclin tier shit, but they're pretty close.

Anyway, I think I've got a good handle on my addiction. I got to level 4 and am going to bed. Large difference from last time.

Maybe I can do heroin recreationally!

7 solid hours with basically zero server hiccups once I got past the initial queue, which was maybe 10-15 mins. Legit shocked. Playing a human pally on PvE because I'm lame and it's all I know. Well that and warlock, will be my main alt again. Or shaman. Or hunter. Forever is gonna be forever so may as well level every class.

Only shenanigans I've really seen is some sub-areas where I'll see literally every player across what seems like every layer all at once, and can interact with those players but can only see and interact with the mobs in my own layer. Very weird.

I'm going to play this some for the feels while I work on a bunch of other projects, I'm sick of POE2 and while I think of myself as an EQ person, when logging in I forgot how many characters I leveled to 60 in classic original WoW timeframe. WTF was doing with my life to have that much time 2005-8?
