What is up with the Human female HD models all having huge flat noses?

Edit: Oh, the default must be for minority types; there is a setting at the bottom for normal faces, lol.

These no-server servers are weird. Logged in initially just to check things out around 6pm pacific and the starting area was packed. Logged in again at 8pm and played for 2 hours. Saw about 5 players total. Only 5! Weird, but I can’t complain. There were plenty of wolves and boars to kill. Felt oddly lonely though

I miss the server drama and playing against/with mostly the same people on a server versus the large mega servers most MMO's do these days.

Seems like a scale issue to me. Once the game gets to a certain size keeping all the individual server populations and communities alive seems like an impossible task. I don't think we'll see this type of thing again at any sort of scale until one of these games does a more community driven server system where people can curate their own servers/communities rather than asking a company to do it.

Even then it sounds pretty difficult. Server environments we're used to are a legacy of an Internet that no longer exists. I think recreating it will take a focused effort

Any must have addons? Havent played WoW in years and outside of a dmg meter and boss addon not sure whats good. Default UI elements are still pretty ass.

They have a lot of built in systems now that emulate addons, like their version of Questie and damage meters

Got a night elf Hunter to lvl10, but then the tedium of trying to feed any of the pets set in and I bailed. As far as I can tell, nothing in Teldrassil drops anything a pet would eat while leveling. Switched to a Human Warlock to see how that goes... and servers go down.

The maintenance is supposed to address some of the layering/sharding apparently where places are overcrowded and others are desolate

Do not underestimate degenerates. I remember this because I actually laughed out loud at it but I remember during the OG Classic watching Alkaizerx literally fall alseep on stream doing Scarlet Monastery runs. People are very unhealthy about this shit
