bc seems like one of those things that is really cool in headlines and news but in reality most people never really do anything with it. i could go play a million old games on MAME, my emulators, nintendo switch online, etc but i doubt i've played more than6 hours total in my life, and almost all of that in simpsons hit and run.
i think i've spent 100x more hours tweaking and setting up emulators and ROMs and shit than actually playing any of it. i bought lost odyssey and fable and KOTOR and never played a second. Well, I guess I did finish RDR 1 on 360 BC but they remastered the game in the last year anyways.

You really should just play these instead of pretty much anything else you're planning on in 2026. KotOR is kind of rough now in both graphics and gameplay, but Lost Odyssey still absolutely holds up even 20 years later.

pretty dumb but w/e. the disc to digital program is live too with last nights OS patch, i only have 2-3 xbox discs but it worked seamlessly. put disc in, right click on icon, claim digital license, and eject disc and can play digital license without needing disc. works on games that are play anywhere too so you can claim the xbox license and then install and play on PC, pretty neat.
theres a couple hundred game discs it works on and people have spreadsheets and websites with them
