I couldn"t agree more, which is precisely why letting in camwhores is a bad idea. What better or more efficient way to trash the boards" respectability and credibility than by turning them into frothing-at-the-mouth, 4Chan-spamming, obscenity-laden extensions of Yahoo Live Chat?

not suggesting you open the floodgates, i agree with you this board shouldnt lower its standards. just saying letting a few camhos in maybe just on a temporary basis wouldnt bring the board down, just let them know if they shill their paysites or post HC porn pics they will see the door. some of them might even have personalities or be big fans of movies and such.

And you want me to make that even worse? Come on. It"s bad enough that we have a group of people here who aren"t contributing productively to the boards as a whole, but that doesn"t mean I should call the whole thing a loss and just open the floodgates. I also disagree with the assertion that "most" of the current posters aren"t contributing. I think it"s really a vocal minority of overall fohguild board posters who do nothing but spam Screenshots all day. I think the vast majority of posters on fohguild actually do enjoy fohguild"s respectability and credibility, and would be pretty pissed off if that respectability and credibility took another big hit.

Where we disagree here is that I believe letting in "a few camhos"wouldseriously sap credibility. Let"s not forget how far south, and how quickly, these forums sank a couple years ago when a rogue moderator tried to turn them into his personal clubhouse. I"m not about to let some camwhore in, have her stir up the riffraff, and then piss everyone off when it inevitably comes time to kick her out for crossing whatever line she"ll end up crossing.

I think you"d find that is strictly not the case for the majority of posters here. Say what you will about what you think the quality of the forum is, but generally people don"t stick to just one forum and DO have an opinion to weigh in on a wide variety of topics.
