The season finale came out a few days ago. It felt a bit rushed, and was a bit predictable imo. The very end end seemed....forced I guess just so they could keep it going into season 2. But overall, I really liked the show.

Season 1 was so good, I’m curious how they do season 2 with his motivation to keep up the scheme. I hope “I’m rich and bored” isn’t the only aspect as the trailer seems to hint at.

This was surprisingly good. Frustratingly so, honestly, because there’s one aspect I hate so fucking much that I’d prefer the show weren’t any good so I could just hate it.

As usual, the main white male character is a complete goddamn cuck faggot. All of the women (except sister) are shown as competent, he’s a fuckup, the divorce is all his fault, etc. I’m so fucking tired of this framing. His acceptance of it all is infuriating. They all treat him like shit and he just shrugs and goes with it.

If Peet’s cheating is brought up it’s always immediately redirected to how obviously her cheating is his fault because he “took his eye off the ball.” Yeah ok, relationships are complicated, everyone has some blame, blah blah, but cheating is just never acceptable. The way it’s always immediately excused for females is so damn infuriating.

I really, really, miss having strong white male leads.
