So far, I've liked the first 3 episodes of season 2. I see some problems on the horizon, but that'll come probably towards the end of the season.
Even if getting arrested is the threat, Coop can't take 100% of the risk on Ashe's fortune. Otherwise, it isn't worth laundering his money while getting nothing at all in return.
As a side note, While I knew I recognized the actor, I didn't realize until now that he was Cyclops in X-Men, and the lead human from the Sonic movies.

Ok, I didn't realize it. Searching for him on IMDB spilled the beans because I wanted to know where I knew him from.

Anybody still watching? The season is almost done, I wanted to wait until it's done to binge it. Thoughts on season 2?

It's fine so far. I'll caveat this with saying I haven't watched the most recent episode yet.

But it's kind of running into the same problem all of them do, an interesting first season that mostly gets resolved...where do you go from there? It seems to just kind of sputter around where 7 episodes in I can't really tell you what the overarching plot is as it's juggling a few different things, and most aren't really related to the first season at all. It's still interesting, but it's really just become "watch shitty rich people and their problems." I think most of it is because Jon Hamm is carrying it. I don't particularly care about any of the other characters at all.

Ive watched all of season 2 so far and this pretty much sums it up. It had an interesting twist at the beginning of the season that has kind of gone away for the last few episodes. Its mostly turned into a bitchfest for the Mom and daughter. Mom cant stop crying because shes going through menopause and then has a meltdown over the neighbors dog shitting in her yard. The daughter lashing out and getting in trouble because she doesnt want to go to a prestigious college, basically rich white privilege.

S2 is lame. It's all family drama and almost nothing else. I thought Ash was going to end up being a pink panther type character but apparently he's just an insufferable rich douche.

I was wondering if this happened in S2 because the whole robbing neighbors houses thing was only really in the first half or so of S1 even, it was all about the meltdown after that and for the second half of the season if I am recalling correctly. I was wondering if they were going to get back to the stealing part in S2 or not, guess not. That was the hook of the show and what made it unique/interesting, why would they stop that and never go back to it?

I'm guessing the writers want this to be more about middle age than about thievery. The hot Latina crime partner has barely been in this season.

Probably because it gets to be a really fucking retarded premise when he's constantly ripping off people worth millions or hundreds of millions, yet zero of them have surveillance of any kind in 2026. He doesn't even bother to wear a mask.

I'm glad they moved away from that, as it's only "realistic" for so long. Problem is, they haven't really made anything else surrounding it all that interesting.

Its a really glaring problem that he just robs them with no face coverings and often in broad daylight. They TRY to explain it away, with things like "I have their security code for house sitting!". But its completely nonsensical

I mean sure but thats like every show ever, they have this cool premise that you want to see how it plays out and they either blue ball you by never having it actually play out (because the show would end) or they try to extend beyond whatever that cool premise was without any kind of fucking plan and the show just founders.
