While I didn't hate this season like the previous people, I am mostly just disappointed that this didn't turn into something like "the early years" of the main characters in To Catch a Thief and/or The Thomas Crown Affair (but in the present day setting). With so many average looking women in modern media, having some attractive woman also helped me keep watching. While I'm not obsessed with Asian woman, like a lot of people seem to be, both the Asians in this were looking good (and of course the younger Latina maid).

Good God this show jumped the shark.
"Guys!!! There are cameras all over the inside of the house showing exactly what happened. Because this guy was a psycho. Let's get rid of all that exonerating evidence, and actually do something criminal!!"
And then the rest of the episode is even more idiotic.
Between this and all the lazy explanations as to why ultra wealthy people's security systems were easy to bypass i think these writers and showrunners dont understand technology or what year we live in.

Amanda Peets character may be one of the worst characters on a show I've ever watched.
The first season of this was so good. Coop was an emotional mess, but the things happening seemed believable to an extent and the solutions that got him out of those messes seemed a long shot, but doable. This season, though, it just went out the window in terms of believability. I wish I could have been in the writing room when they thought him getting trapped in his friend's house and then just walking out without trying not to be seen (in fact almost like he was TRYING to be seen and caught) but wasn't....was a clever and great idea. It wasn't, it was awful, and I hope they all know that now.
Also, if you're just holding a fishing line over the edge of a boat and not casting or reeling, a stationary car isn't going to yank on your pole like that.
That said, I'll watch season 3 because I'm dumb.

The show obviously has an enormous budget just from the set pieces and cars and shit. And it's obviously got a cast with above average acting chops. The writing is just so so terrible. I haven't watched the last episode yet, and I kind of just don't want to. You can really tell they had no idea what the fuck to do with a second season.
