1. Empire Strikes Back
2. Raiders of the Lost Ark
3. Fellowship of the Ring
4. Return of the King
5. Pulp Fiction
6. Back to the Future
7. Usual Suspects (though the director turning out to be scum sullies that....)
8. Iron Man 1 (can't help it...love it)
9. Goodfellas
10. The Dark Knight

Honorable Mention: The Departed, Road to Perdition, Once Upon a Time in America (goddamn theme here I guess), Lebowski, Infinity War/Endgame, Batman 1989, Spider-man (Raimi 1), Gone with the Wind, Two Towers, Matrix, Ghostbusters, Robocop, and Christmas Vacation

Guilty Pleasures: The Toxic Avenger, The Harry Potter Series, Ghostbusters 2, Man of Steel, Independence Day, Puppet Master (reminds me of renting shitty horror movies with my grandmother as a middle schooler), Spaceballs (easily the worst Brooks parody?)

Man that's hard to put together. And this is a favorite list, not really a best movies I've seen. There's a lot of memories associated with my picks.

I still haven't been willing to get my wife to watch Requiem for a Dream. Its flat suicide inspiration.

Too much apples and oranges to rank them. I'm sure there are lots of movies that I could put in top 10 instead, but here's a list.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.
Alien.
Airplane!
Raider's of the Lost Ark.
The Empire Strikes Back.
Spaceballs.
Predator.
Pulp Fiction.
Silence of the Lambs.
Pirates of the Caribbean.
Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier.

we are old fogeys and movies were definitely made better back then. though, i think we still had a good movie era all the way up to 2003.
2003 was Return of The King, Pirates:Black Pearl, Finding Nemo and Kill Bill.

and John Favreau's "Elf"

I don't keep track of a top 10 (might try to nail one down later) but I can definitely give a top 3.

1. Fury Road
2. Blade Runner (Director's cut - no Harrison Ford narration and "I want more life, fucker!")
3. John Wick

Memento used to be #1 on my list, but it's fallen over time and Christopher Nolan repeating the same sorts of themes in his movies hasn't done it any favors. Probably still in top 10.
I'd probably try to fill out the rest in no particular order with my favorites from various genres. Ghost in the Shell for anime, etc.

That makes 5 so far.

Edit:
There will be Blood
13 Assassins
Goodfellas
The Matrix (imagine the sequels don't exist)
Death Race: Beyond Anarchy (ultimate guilty pleasure)

Honorable mentions:
Dredd
The Road Warrior
Anchorman
Ip Man

Fuck, this gets tough to narrow down once you start going.

My top 10 is constantly changing so kind of hard to pin it down
The only movie that has never fallen off is "The Princess Bride" which is, IMHO, the greatest movie ever made.

Holy shit. I never realized all those came out in 2003. ROTK was fucking insanely good. And that means right before 2003 started we had TTT. Pirates Black Pearl is the only one I like of the series, it's fantastic. Kill Bill is my top 10, and Elf is my families Christmas Movie, cracks me up.

And this year we had ... Sonic, Bad Boys 3 (it was "fine"), and WW84. LOL.
