@Mughal Other than the obvious reasons (no revenue), do you happen to know why they shut down the original PlanetSide? Was there something that triggered it? It was seeing a lot of activity in it's final days due to a private player made hack being used to freeze other hackers with GM popup...

You lucked out then. The performance (even for high end PCs) and servers break with every patch. The fights are barely bigger than anything Battlefield offers at the moment due to the game being pretty dead and mechanics that split up the population. The gameplay worse as well. The original...

I can definitely agree with that. When my guild left WoW, that was it for me. Couldn't be bothered to continue playing. What I perceived as the decline of WoW also helped, but still...probably would have kept playing.

What do you guys think is the best PVP MMO prospect on the horizon? I've tried Crowfall, can't say I'm a fan. The combat system felt really clunky, but I haven't played since the new update. It probably feels better now, but the TTK seemed absurdly long...and ability usage often times felt...
